Who we are
We are an association of scuba divers, freedivers, instructors and friends of Polish waters. We believe diving is more than a sport — it is access to a world someone has to care for.

The Polish Subsurface Initiative — PSI for short, like the Greek letter Ψ that looks like a trident — is being founded in 2026 by seven divers. Instead of complaining that “someone should do something” about littered dive sites, we are setting up an organisation that does it itself.
We work in three directions — like the three prongs of our trident:
- Education — trainings, workshops and open materials about safety and Polish waters.
- Ecology — underwater cleanups and protection of water bodies.
- Exploration — expeditions, competitions and documenting underwater places.

Diving instructor and technical diver. Water is his element and exploration is a way of life: he loves wrecks, caves and depth, because that is where the unseen begins.

Supporting member
- the starting point for every new person (companies and institutions too)
- full participation in actions, trainings and the life of PSI
- advisory voice at the General Assembly, no voting rights
- no membership fees
VOTING RIGHTS
Regular member
- after at least 12 months of active supporting membership
- recommendation of 2 regular members + the President’s decision
- votes at the General Assembly, may stand for election
- access to the members’ area (resolutions, minutes, finances)

The highest authority of PSI is the General Assembly of Members. Day to day, the association is run by a one-person Board — the President — overseen by an independent Audit Committee. Terms of office last 3 years.
